PART 2: “IT WASN’T HER!!” phunhoang

The scrape cut through the courtroom—

loud, sharp, violent—

like something tearing apart.

“IT WASN’T HER!!”

The boy’s voice exploded into the room.

Everything froze.

The camera snapped—fast—

locking onto him as he stood—

small—

shaking—

but pointing.

Direct.

Unwavering.

“Sit down!”

The judge’s voice cracked down hard—

but it didn’t move him.

“She was protecting me!”

Louder now.

Breaking.

Gasps rippled through the room—

reporters leaning forward—

jury shifting in their seats.

The camera pushed in—

tight—

on the maid.

Tears already forming.

Hands trembling.

She couldn’t even look up.

Then—

movement.

A man stepped forward.

Sharp suit.

Controlled presence.

Uncle Victor.

He grabbed the boy’s arm—tight.

“Enough. Sit down.”

Cold.

Too cold.

The boy flinched—

just for a second—

but his hand stayed raised.

Still pointing.

The camera cut closer—

Victor’s face.

Perfect control—

except for one thing.

A flicker.

Fear.

Gone almost instantly—

but not fast enough.

“The guilty one is HERE!”

The boy’s voice cut deeper now.

Stronger.

The courtroom didn’t just quiet—

it collapsed into silence.

No movement.

No breath.

“The maid didn’t lock the door…”

A beat.

The air tightened.

Every eye on him.

Then—

“…YOU DID, Uncle Victor.”

The words landed like a verdict.

The camera snapped to Victor—

and this time—

the mask didn’t hold.

His face cracked.

Color draining—

control slipping—

truth rising whether he wanted it or not.

And just before anyone could react—

before the room could explode—

darkness cut it all off.
