The luxury rooftop restaurant shimmered above the city skyline, wrapped in soft violin music and golden candlelight. Wealthy guests laughed quietly over expensive wine while waiters moved like ghosts between crystal tables.
Then—
BANG.
The front doors slammed open so hard the chandeliers trembled.
A tiny dirty boy stood barefoot at the entrance, soaked from the rain, clutching a torn teddy bear against his chest.
The room immediately filled with disgusted whispers.
A woman in diamonds slowly lowered her champagne glass.
“Who let him in here?”
The little boy’s breathing shook.
“I… I’m looking for someone.”
A waiter stepped forward nervously. “Sweetheart, you can’t stay here.”
But the child suddenly pointed toward the richest table in the restaurant.
Toward a powerful elegant woman dressed in white silk.
The boy’s lips trembled.
“My mommy said she knows you.”
Silence.
The elegant woman frowned coldly. “I’ve never seen this child before.”
The little boy stared at her for a long moment.
Then slowly…
he opened the teddy bear.
Hidden inside was a tiny hospital bracelet.
The woman’s face instantly lost all color.
No one in the restaurant moved.
The little boy lifted the bracelet higher with shaking fingers.
“You gave this to my mom… the night I was born.”
A glass slipped from someone’s hand.
CRASH.
The elegant woman stood up so suddenly her chair slammed backward.
“That’s impossible.”
But the little boy’s eyes filled with tears.
“My mom said… before she disappeared…”
His voice cracked violently.
“…you paid her to never tell me who my real mother was.”
The entire restaurant went dead silent.
