Part 2:“The Wedding Gift That Destroyed Two Families”.Zoe

At the luxury wedding, the bride suddenly stood up and said:

— Before we continue the ceremony, I want everyone to see what gift my mother-in-law brought me.

The doors opened.

The groom’s mother walked in wearing old clothes and holding a small box.

Guests started laughing.

The bride grabbed the box and said:

— Let’s see what kind of poor little surprise this is.

She opened it…

Inside was just an old letter.

The bride ripped the letter apart and laughed.

— This is your gift?

The groom’s mother calmly said:

— You should’ve read it to the end.

The bride ignored her.

— You don’t even deserve to be here.

The woman smiled.

— That letter said I was transferring my entire company to my son.

The entire hall went silent.

The groom looked shocked.

— What company?

The woman calmly replied:

— The same company your father works for… and the one you thought would belong to you.

The bride’s father turned pale.

— This is a joke…

The woman pulled out legal documents.

— As of today, you’re bankrupt.

The bride screamed in tears:

— No…

The groom looked at her and said:

— The wedding is over.

The same guests who were laughing moments earlier…

were now filming the bride’s humiliation.
In the luxurious wedding hall, the atmosphere shifted instantly.

The laughter that once filled the room had completely disappeared. Only the sound of slow, uncertain breathing remained.

Guests looked at each other, no longer sure whether they were witnessing a celebration or a collapse.

The bride stood frozen, her face pale, her hands still trembling from tearing the letter.

— This is impossible… she whispered again, but her voice no longer carried confidence—only fear.

The groom slowly turned away from her. Not angrily. Not dramatically. Just… with finality.

— You didn’t just humiliate her, he said quietly. You humiliated everything you don’t even understand.

The bride reached for him.

— Wait… we can fix this. Please—

But he stepped back.

The mother of the groom raised her hand slightly, and one of the lawyers stepped forward.

— There is one final clause, the lawyer announced.

The room held its breath again.

He opened the document and continued:

— Effective immediately, all pending financial partnerships between both families are terminated. Any assets transferred under false assumption of merger intent will be reversed under full legal authority.

A murmur spread through the hall.

The bride’s father stumbled slightly as if the floor had shifted under him.

— You… planned this, he muttered.

The mother of the groom finally showed a faint, tired smile.

— No. I simply protected what was already mine.

The bride let out a broken sound between a laugh and a sob.

— So what happens to me now?

No one answered immediately.

Until the groom spoke one last time, without looking at her:

— Now you face the consequences alone.

And as the guests slowly began to leave, the wedding hall that once echoed with music and celebration was left in complete silence… as the cameras continued to record what had turned into a downfall no one would forget.

In the luxurious wedding hall, silence turned heavy—almost suffocating.

When the legal documents were laid on the table, no one dared to laugh anymore. The same guests who had been recording the bride’s “moment of victory” seconds ago slowly lowered their phones.

The groom stepped back, staring at his mother as if seeing her for the first time.

— This… can’t be real, he whispered.

The mother calmly adjusted her sleeve, her expression unchanged.

— You thought I came here with a gift because I was weak… but I came here to make a final decision.

From the back of the hall, someone tried to speak, but the sound died in the tense air.

The bride, still in shock, gripped the edge of the table.

— You can’t do this… this is my wedding…

The mother looked at her for a long moment—cold, but not angry.

— This was never your story.

And just then, the doors opened again.

Two lawyers entered the hall holding additional documents.

Behind them came the final announcement that would change everything…
