PART 2: The wheelchair slammed sideways across the marble floor with a violent crash – susu

Gasps exploded through the luxury jewelry boutique.

An elderly woman nearly tipped onto the polished stone as a manager shoved the chair aggressively toward the exit.

“Get her out of here.”

Before anyone could react—

a young worker in a blue uniform dove across the marble.

He caught the wheelchair with both hands seconds before it flipped.

The impact snapped a pearl necklace around the old woman’s neck.

Pearls scattered everywhere.

Rolling beneath glass displays.
Bouncing across marble in slow motion.

The boutique froze.

Rich customers stepped backward to protect their shoes.

Nobody helped.

Nobody moved.

Only the young worker dropped to his knees beside her, breathing hard as he carefully gathered the pearls with trembling dirty hands.

The manager crossed her arms, disgusted.

“Do NOT touch her.”

He ignored her completely.

Softly:

“Are you okay?”

The old woman stared at him for a long moment.

Emotional.
Studying him carefully.

“No one else bent down…”

The room fell silent.

One final pearl rolled slowly across the floor toward the worker’s shoe.

Close-up.

He picked it up between his fingers.

CRACK.

The pearl split open in his hand.

Something tiny and gold dropped into his palm.

The worker froze.

A small golden key.

Heartbeat rising.

The manager’s face lost all color instantly.

“…the vault key.”

Whip-pan across the boutique—

toward the giant locked private showroom door beneath the crystal chandelier.

The worker looked down at the key.
Then slowly back at the elderly woman.

“Who are you?”

The old woman lifted her head slowly.

Tears shimmered in her eyes.

Then—

a calm smile appeared on her face.

“I came to choose the next owner.”

The customers gasped.

The manager stumbled backward.

But the worker noticed something else.

Engraved on the tiny golden key—

was his own last name.

Part 2 in the comments.
