🎬 PART 2: «The Woman Who Knew Where Their Mother Went»..lyly

The teenager stared at her.

“What did you say?”

The woman stepped into the aisle, one hand pressed to her chest like she could barely breathe.

“I was the nurse,” she cried. “I held you first.”

The judge leaned forward.

The lawyer turned sharply.

The teenager’s face hardened through the tears.

“Our mother died.”

The woman shook her head.

“No. That’s what they told you.”

The courtroom went still.

The younger boy clung to his brother’s sleeve.

The woman reached into her purse and pulled out a folded hospital bracelet, old and faded.

It had the teenager’s name on it.

Beside it was another one.

His mother’s.

“She tried to keep you both,” the woman said. “But your father’s family forced her out. They said if she came back, they would make sure she never saw you again.”

The teenager’s lips trembled.

“My dad said she left because she didn’t want us.”

The woman sobbed harder.

“She came back every year. Every birthday. She stood outside the school fence just to see you.”

The younger boy began crying again.

“Where is she now?”

The woman looked at the judge, then back at the boys.

“She’s in the hallway.”

The teenager stopped breathing.

The courtroom doors opened.

A frail woman stood there, pale and shaking, holding a small worn photo of two little boys.

The teenager whispered, “Mom?”

She covered her mouth and collapsed into tears.

Both boys ran to her.

The teenager tried to stay strong, but the moment she touched his face, he broke like the child he had never been allowed to be.

“I thought you left us,” he sobbed.

She held both sons against her, crying into their hair.

“I never left you in my heart. Not one day.”

The judge removed his glasses, wiping his eyes.

Then he looked across the courtroom and said softly, “This court will hear the truth today.”

And for the first time, the boys were not fighting to stay together alone.

Their mother had finally found her way back.
