The NBC officiating analyst had the same reaction everybody else did when no flag was thrown on a seemingly blatant pass interference call in the fourth quarter.

Drake Maye’s deep ball still hung in the air when Ravens defensive back Marlon Humphrey wrapped up Patriots receiver Kayshon Boutte inside the 10-yard-line.
Boutte still nearly caught the ball as Humphrey hauled him to the ground. He had it in his hands for several moments trying to secure possession before Humphrey swatted it away.
NBC’s Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth were both surprised at the lack of flags. They then brought in rules expert Terry McAulay. Tirico first asked him to explain why it wasn’t a catch and then followed with:“This is an even harder question,” Tirico said. “Why wasn’t that pass interference.”
Sometimes, officiating experts try to soften criticism of their former colleagues. Not this time:
“It’s not that hard. That was pass interference,” McAulay said.
McAulay was an NFL referee for 20 years and worked three Super Bowls. He’s been on NBC since 2018.
