Right after Barack Obama’s call to fight hunger in America, Bills QB Josh Allen donated $100,000 to FeedMore WNY Food Bank to help struggling families. Obama thanked him publicly and sent a personal gift, making Bills fans prouder than ever.

Buffalo, NY – November 1, 2025

Former President Barack Obama has publicly thanked Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen after the superstar joined his national initiative to combat food insecurity across the United States.

Just hours after Obama’s viral post on X highlighting that “more than 47 million Americans — including one in five children — don’t have reliable access to nutritious food,” Allen announced a

$100,000 donation to the FeedMore WNY Food Bank, supporting families across upstate New York as winter approaches.

Now in the midst of another stellar campaign, Allen has thrown for 1,560 yards, 12 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions, completing 68.0% of his passes

while guiding the Bills (5–2) toward the top of the AFC East. He’ll look to keep the momentum rolling this Sunday in a primetime clash against the Kansas City Chiefs (5–3) — a matchup that could define the playoff picture.

Speaking about his donation, Allen said:

“Buffalo means family. If you play here, you don’t just play for the team — you play for the people. No one in our community should ever go hungry.”

Obama reposted Allen’s announcement with a heartfelt note:

“Josh Allen shows what true leadership looks like — competing fiercely on the field, and showing compassion off of it.”

Sources close to the Bills confirmed that Obama also sent Allen a

personal gift — a handwritten letter framed beside a presidential coin, thanking him for his generosity and dedication to the Buffalo community.

For Bills Mafia, it’s another reason to cheer —

Josh Allen isn’t just leading Buffalo’s offense; he’s leading with heart. ❤️
