George Kittle Ignites Postgame Firestorm: The 49ers Star Doesn’t Hold Back After the Win Over the Browns — His Raw, Unfiltered Comments Send Shockwaves Through the Locker Room, Energize Fans, and Leave Analysts Debating What His Message Really Means.abc

The San Francisco 49ers extended their winning streak to three games with a 26-8 victory over the Cleveland Browns on November 30 at Huntington Bank Field.

After throwing three interceptions against the Carolina Panthers in Week 12, quarterback Brock Purdy bounced back, protecting the football with no turnovers. He went 16 of 29 on his pass attempts for 168 passing yards and a touchdown, finding George Kittle and Jauan Jennings as key targets in the passing game.

Running back Christian McCaffrey also played a significant role, rushing 20 times for 53 yards and a touchdown, while adding four catches for 21 yards through the air.

The win over the Browns puts the 49ers at 9-4 heading into their bye week, and Kittle didn’t hold back on his thoughts about what the team has been able to accomplish despite all their injuries.

“If people would have said, ‘Hey, you guys are going to be nine and four going into the bye, and you’re not going to have Fred Warner or Nick Bosa, and Kittle is going to miss the first five weeks, and Brock is going to miss six or seven games,’ I think a lot of people would have laughed at everybody,” Kittle said postgame (h/t 95.7 The Game).

“Kudos to our coaching staff, Coach [Kyle] Shanahan, [49ers general manager John Lynch] for bringing in the right guys to fill in those spots, developing players to take advantage of those situations.”

49ers Will Look to Finish the 2025 Season Strong

San Francisco enters their bye week with four games remaining, three of which come against teams battling for playoff spots: the Chicago Bears, Seattle Seahawks, and Indianapolis Colts.

After the break, the Niners have a chance to keep their winning streak alive when they face the struggling Tennessee Titans on December 14, where they are expected to be the favorite.

Kittle spoke about the message the team will receive heading into this bye week, knowing that once they return, they need to finish the season on a strong note.

“I think we’re set up really well,” Kittle added. “These bye weeks get tricky because I think guys have just been looking forward to it. And so our message, I think Kyle says the message tomorrow is just like, ‘Hey, get away, do whatever you have to do.’ But just remember, when we come back, we have four incredibly difficult games that are going to hopefully set us up to do something fun after the last game.”

Brock Purdy Bounced Back for the 49ers

After struggling in Week 12, the 49ers quarterback didn’t have any turnovers against the Browns. Purdy spoke with CBS Sports and credited the entire team for securing the road win as they look to keep themselves in the race for the NFC West division.

“Just a complete team effort across the board—defense, special teams, [and] offense—everyone doing their job and trying to play smart football given the conditions we were in,” Purdy said postgame to CBS Sports’ Melanie Collins. “On a road environment like this, you have to be on top of your stuff. So credit to our coaches for getting us right and executing.”
