Cowboys wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens spent the offseason coordinating a new touchdown celebration. Just two weeks into the season, we’ve learned how the NFL feels about their gesture.

Lamb and Pickens were fined $14,491 each for what the league describes as unsportsmanlike conduct – violent gesture. The receivers displayed their new celebration in the fourth quarter after Pickens came down with a touchdown reception during Dallas’ Week 2 win over the New York Giants.

The fines didn’t stop there for the receiving duo. Pickens also received a fine worth $14,491 for unsportsmanlike conduct- removal of helmet on the same fourth-quarter sequence. Meanwhile, Lamb was fined $11,593 for taunting in the second quarter.

The combined total in fines for Lamb and Pickens is $55,066.

Lamb and Pickens first showcased their touchdown celebration during a Cowboys training camp practice in Oxnard, California.

Week 2 was full of action for those keeping track of player fines. New York Giants offensive lineman James Hudson III received a $12,172 fine for striking Cowboys pass rusher James Houston in the first quarter.

Hudson notably incurred four penalties on the Giants’ first drive, an NFL record this century.

Giants pass rusher Brian Burns closed out the list with an $11,593 fine for taunting in the third quarter.
