Late last night, chaos erupted outside a quiet suburban neighborhood when former Kansas City Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt became the target of a terrifying armed home-invasion attempt that was caught on camera. Police in California confirmed the incident early this morning, calling it “a highly dangerous confrontation that could have ended far worse.”

According to authorities, three armed suspects arrived at Colquitt’s property shortly after midnight. Surveillance footage shows the men smashing through the front entrance with tools and attempting to force their way inside. The break-in appeared coordinated, with two suspects breaching the doorway while a third stood guard.
