Pittsburgh, PA – Fans of both Poison and the Pittsburgh Steelers are in for a treat, as Butler County native and rock legend Bret Michaels is officially set to perform during halftime of the upcoming Steelers vs. Packers game on October 26.

The announcement came directly from Michaels through a Facebook video, later confirmed on the official Steelers website. “My friends, I’m so excited to be back in Pittsburgh,” Michaels said. “It’s gonna be nothing but a good time at halftime on Sunday Night Football — we’re gonna bring the party.”

Despite the limited halftime window, Michaels shared that he and his band are working on a new live track dedicated to the Steelers and their fans, which will debut during his performance. The rock icon also revealed plans to invite military personnel, veterans, and people living with diabetes to join him on stage — a personal gesture reflecting his lifelong battle with Type 1 Diabetes and his family’s military background.

“We’re gonna bring all of our diabetic friends, all of our unbelievable military, active duty, and veterans — as I am both diabetic and the son of a veteran — to join me on stage,” Michaels said. “We’re gonna make this special for Pittsburgh.”

Michaels, best known as the frontman of the iconic 1980s band Poison, still performs hits like “Talk Dirty to Me” and “Every Rose Has Its Thorn.” His upcoming Steelers-themed halftime show promises a mix of nostalgia, energy, and Pittsburgh pride.

The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET, with the Steelers hosting the Green Bay Packers at Acrisure Stadium.
