The fallout from the Kansas City Chiefs’ 31–28 Thanksgiving loss to the Dallas Cowboys just took another stunning turn — and this time, it’s coming from one of the NFL’s most respected former referees.
Tom White, a legendary official with over 25 years of experience and multiple Super Bowls under his belt, has publicly condemned the officiating crew led by John Hussey, accusing them of “deceitful conduct” and saying their actions “compromised the integrity of the game.”
“It wasn’t just a missed call here or there — it was a pattern,” White said in an exclusive interview. “When a crew manipulates the rhythm of a fourth quarter by selectively enforcing ticky-tack fouls, you’re not just making mistakes — you’re influencing outcomes. White was particularly incensed by the back-to-back pass interference calls late in the fourth quarter — one against cornerback Trent McDuffie, another against linebacker Leo Chenal — both of which extended Dallas’s game-winning drive and took momentum away from the Chiefs in a game that was otherwise hanging in the balance.

The NFL has not yet responded to mounting calls for accountability. Earlier this week, Chiefs President Clark Hunt submitted a 10GB evidence file to the league office, including All-22 tape, sideline audio, and a full timestamp analysis of controversial fourth-quarter sequences. White’s comments now add professional weight to the growing chorus demanding change.
Across social media, fans from multiple franchises — not just the Chiefs — are expressing outrage, with some calling for a suspension or review of the entire Hussey crew.
