Malcolm Jenkins will return to Lincoln Financial Field this Friday, where he will officially be inducted into the
Eagles Hall of Fame, marking a monumental moment for the franchise.
The three-time Pro Bowler played six seasons in Philadelphia from 2014 to 2019, becoming a cornerstone of the defense and a leader on and off the field.
He earned all three Pro Bowl appearances during his time with the Eagles, and he played a major role in the team’s historic Super Bowl LII championship run.
Now, five years after leaving the franchise, he prepares to be immortalized in Eagles history forever, and he shared an emotional message with fans ahead of the ceremony.
The Eagles legend opened up about what the moment means to him, reflecting on his journey back to the city that defined his prime.
“Philly, we’re back together again. And this time, it’s forever,”
Jenkins wrote in his heartfelt message to fans on Tuesday.
“When I left the Eagles in 2020, I said it felt like a breakup. I meant that. You don’t walk away from something that shaped and challenged you without leaving a piece behind.”
“What I didn’t know then was that love doesn’t require proximity. If it’s real, it finds its way back. Being inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame feels like coming home.”
He also reflected on the meaning of legacy, and how much the honor represents the work he poured into the franchise for six unforgettable seasons.
“Legacy matters more than anything. Not money or attention, but what remains when you’re gone.”
“To be honored in my first year of eligibility, as the first player from our Super Bowl team in the Hall of Fame, is one of the most humbling moments of my life.”
“I look at names like Brian Dawkins, Reggie White, Eric Allen—men I admired and learned from. To sit among them now, not as a fan but as a peer, is a tremendous honor.”
Jenkins leaves behind a legacy built on toughness, accountability, leadership, and championship pedigree—qualities that shaped an entire era of Eagles football.
He will be honored Friday night at Lincoln Financial Field when the Eagles host the Chicago Bears, giving fans one more chance to celebrate one of the greatest defenders in franchise history.
