California – Late last night, chaos erupted outside a quiet suburban neighborhood when former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Equanimeous St. Brown became the target of a terrifying armed home-invasion attempt, captured on camera. California police confirmed the incident early this morning, calling it “a highly dangerous confrontation that could have ended far worse.”
Authorities reported that three armed suspects arrived at St. Brown’s property shortly after midnight. Surveillance footage shows the men smashing through the front entrance with tools and attempting to force their way inside. The break-in appeared coordinated, with two suspects breaching the doorway while a third stood guard.
Moments after entering, the suspects suddenly fled in panic.

Police say St. Brown—or someone inside the home—fought back and resisted the intruders, forcing them to leave empty-handed. The suspects ran back to their vehicle and sped away before officers arrived.
Investigators are reviewing the footage and have launched a search for all three suspects. No injuries were reported. Police praised the quick response from inside the home but warned residents not to confront armed intruders if possible.
Authorities described the event as “a targeted break-in attempt” but have not confirmed whether St. Brown was specifically singled out.
The former Packers wide receiver, who spent several seasons in Green Bay, has not yet publicly commented on the incident.
